Welcome to a unique place

An exclusive place, with privacy for its guests. On the lake, on the east bank, rests a charming place, where you can enjoy majestic views: the water mirror, the north face of Mount Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre, the Vespignani Glacier in front of the Lodge on the other side of the Lake, gives us the sound of its natural ice detachments.

The Lodge is part of the Estancia Río de las Vueltas, a property of 700 hectares of mountains and 900 meters of lake shore, covered with centuries-old trees of the Nothofagus family. You will be able to relax in our house, of peculiar warmth and rusticity in the heart of the majestic Andes of the Argentine Patagonia.

In this remote Argentina, just 5 km from the border with Chile, with access only through the paths and the lake, it is common to not cross paths with anyone except our shadow and those who accompany us; barely explored trails, rivers, glaciers, forests, and lakes. We invite you to discover the spirit of the wild nature that surrounds us, in this remote place, in order to restore yourself both physically and spiritually. We want to share with you the experience of enjoying our hospitality, our house and Patagonia Argentina.

The Lodge

Fitz Roy: 2 rooms with three large windows that allow views of the Lago del Desierto, Fitz Roy and the Vespignani Glacier. Glaciar: 3 rooms with direct view of the Desert Lake and the Vespignani Glacier. Bosque: 1 room with two rooms, divided by a double door with a view of the forest.

Fresh, natural, native. The recipes of the grandmother. This would be the best way to define our table. Grilled lake trout, vegetables from the garden. Regional homemade sweets. All homemade, everything that our isolation allows us. We personalize the food to the maximum, knowing the tastes of our guests.

Relax time

Everyone will find their place to relax, to read, to rest their eyes on the horizon. The reading room is a private, warm, comfortable area with its armchairs where one lies down to read in a relaxed way.

From the Lodge, follow paths of extreme beauty, whether short or long, or find that dream place to enjoy fly fishing somewhere far away, where you can go with your fishing equipment and enjoy solitude.

It is accessed by water; 15 minutes by boat from the southern tip of the lake; a calm navigation, seeing all the coast, the jumps, the condor nests, the hanging glaciers, or following the path on foot, 3 hours of walking along the path that joins the South headwaters with the North headwaters

The property is within the mediations of a provincial reserve, which borders the Los Glaciares National Park, caring for the environment is our priority and our duty.

Distance from Comandante Armando Tola International Airport (El Calafate): 252 Km (5 hours by car).
