Del Bosque Horseriding
Release the reins of your free and adventurous spirit riding on your horse through the native forest in El Chaltén.
This excursion begins and ends in El Chaltén and lasts a total of about four hours. There are two daily departures: at 9.00 a.m. and at 2.00 p.m., returning at 1.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m., respectively. You do not need any previous experience or equipment.
A transfer will take you from the property of El Relincho to Bonanza Camp site, located about 12 km from El Chaltén on the way to the Lago del Desierto.
Once in Bonanza, you will cross to the other side of the De las Vueltas river through a suspension bridge where a guide will be waiting for you.
The guide will assign you your horse and will give you a brief talk with some advice for the whole activity, and the basic notions on how to handle the animal.
They will provide you with everything you need to ride comfortably, on trained and gentle horses, mostly of their own breeding, docile and reliable. The saddles are comfortable so you can enjoy peacefully the two hours ride.
In this excursion you will enjoy stunning views of Cerro Chaltén and the granitic needles around riding through paths of native forests and the typical landscape of our mountain range.
At the end of the ride, a refreshment will be served; tea, coffee or mate accompanied by sweet or savory snacks.
