The Estancia
Located 12 km from El Chaltén, along Provincial Route 41, between the Río De las Vueltas and the Río Del Bosque. Experience rural Patagonian life first-hand by staying in the center of our ranch, located in a valley surrounded by mountains and rivers. Our proposal offers you a stay of pure enjoyment.
At the foot of the Cordón del Bosque, a mountain chain that watches over an area of 8,000 hectares of forests, glaciers, lagoons, streams, rivers and mountains. The ranch belongs to a local family, which for the first time in 2020 grants access to the public for multi-adventure activities, which makes it a virgin place in regards to tourism. Its owners have lived in this area since the 1980s.
They settled there for the first time after the border conflict with Chile, to populate this formerly inhospitable area. They are its first settlers and currently continue to live there. These spaces were historically very little explored, a characteristic that gives the place a unique mysticism and is a great privilege for those who decide to visit it.
The view from here towards the Fitz Roy massif is, without a doubt, one of the main attractions of the area. With its incomparable beauty, this is the ideal place to enjoy life outdoors, do physical activity or simply to relax and breathe the freshness of the native forest. If you are looking for a place to disconnect and enjoy Patagonia, this is your place.

Puestos de Veranada
In the Veranada (summer season) area of the ranch, we have 4 cabins of 35 m2, with private bathroom, with unique views of the northwest face of Mount Fitz Roy.
La Veranada is located 1 km from the Casa de Campo and the Guest House, and also houses the common areas of the Lodge: La Pulpería (Restaurant), Lo de Lita (Breakfast and Tea Room) and El Rancho (Lounge). Maximum capacity: 8 guests (2 for each position/house).

Country house
Ubicada a 3 Km del puente de entrada, está la antigua casa de los dueños de la Estancia, de 120 m2, 4 ambientes, amplia y confortable.
The living room and the dining kitchen treasure the magic and stories of its founders. Up to 5 guests can be accommodated here (4 adults + 1 child up to 8 years old), in two bedrooms with private bathrooms: one bedroom with 1 double bed and another bedroom with 1 double bed + single bed.
Guesthouse
A few meters from the main house, is the Guest House.
Studio apartment of 40 m2, with private bathroom with a maximum capacity of 4 guests (2 adults + 2 children up to 8 years old). It has a double bed + 1 trundle bed.
Both houses are separated by the Bakery and Dining room area where the large wood-fired oven is located.
Activities included
The activities are planned the night before based on the weather report. We normally offer 2 activities per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, between 3-4 hours each.
Mountain Bike
TREK brand mountain bike trips rolled 27.5 and 29, accompanied by a guide, we provide helmets (mandatory use). Enough quantity for all guests.
Horseback rides
Horseback riding accompanied by a guide, we provide a helmet (compulsory use) and saddles. Own horses. Enough quantity for all guests.
Caminatas
Trekking accompanied by a mountain guide, through different paths of the Estancia.
IMPORTANT: Our staff will determine if the guests are suitable to carry out the activities. All activities are carried out within the 8,000 hectares of the Estancia.
Full board
At La Pulpería Restaurant, regional cuisine is prepared, over fires, curanto, grill, lamb, beef and vegetables from the garden. Own bakery and pastry shop. Fixed menu. Non-alcoholic drinks included.
At Lo De Lita Casa de Té, a typical Argentine country breakfast is served, which includes toast, cereal, jams and butter, yogurt, cheese, cold cuts, fruit, scrambled eggs and natural juices.

Important information
Check in: 3:00 p.m. Check out: 10:00 a.m. You can use the common areas if you arrive earlier.
Late check out subject to availability, has a cost of 50% of the rate of the type of room used.
Electricity: the Lodge is supplied with 100% electricity through solar panels (12v energy). The system is on throughout the day. System not suitable for hair dryers, nor are they provided by the Lodge.
Internet: WI FI in La Pulpería (Restaurant), which works a few hours per day (we use solar energy). The service is basic and variable.
Telephone: there is no cell phone signal and the Lodge does not have a landline either. The communication channel is Whatsapp.
Lunch and dinner: Fixed menu. Starter, main course and dessert. Non-alcoholic drinks included.
Corkage: we have our own wine list and non-alcoholic beverages. If you prefer to bring your own wine, corkage will be charged.
Restaurant "La Pulpería": You cannot access with your own food or drinks.
Activities: They are scheduled the night before, based on the weather report. They are shared with rest of the guests staying. They all take place inside the establishment. Horseback riding, trekking and outings on MTB.
Children: They must be accompanied and under the supervision of their parents in the common areas of the Estancia. The Lodge does not have a nursery or babysitting service.

Minimum stay required: 2 nights
To enjoy all the activities and the exclusive environment we require a minimum stay of 2 nights, except during the period corresponding to Special High Season (Christmas, New Year and Easter), when a minimum of 3 nights is required.

* We have a private transfer service from the city of El Calafate or the Comandante Armando Tola International Airport to El Chaltén (IN / OUT), available at an additional cost.
* Passengers can also arrive by bus to El Chalten and use our shuttle or arrive with their own vehicle and leave it in our parking lot located in front of the entrance bridge.
* Shuttle IN OUT free of charge (El Chalten – Bonanza).
