Welcome!
La Chocolatería is one of El Chaltén's historic sites. Making its delicacies in plain sight, it has become a must-visit for tourists, climbers, and locals who come here attracted by its unique warmth and sweetness. Built with beautiful local wood, the house invites you to sit and savor a delicious hot chocolate while the mountains loom through its windows.
When you come to visit La Chocolatería, you'll find the finest artisanal chocolate bars overflowing with your favorite fruits; alfajores that transform a bad-weather day into a wonderful one; cakes just like your grandmother makes; the most delicious pizzas in El Chaltén; and you'll have the opportunity to share a memorable moment with family or friends over a finger-licking fondue (cheese or chocolate).
Anyway, La Chocolatería... is worth it! Part of the history of this town and its mountains is here... It's going to be great to see you walk through the door, meet you, and have you try a ton of delicious things, which are, more than anything, a lot of love. Those of us who work there and all the friends who always get together at La Choco say, "Welcome!"
