OVO Night
Description
At 4:30 pm you must report to the company office (Av. San Martín 48), from where the transfer to OVO departs.
The transport travels 12 km along the scenic Provincial Route 41, going into the valley of the De las Vueltas river, crossing the native forest and from where fantastic views of the surrounding hills and glaciers follow one another. At approximately 5:00 PM, the action begins with an easy hike that starts by crossing the suspension bridge over the De las Vueltas River, entering the Estancia Bonanza.
After a 1.5 mi (about 45 to 60 minutes) walk, you’ll reach the shelter where the guides will give you a safety talk. They’ll set up your harness and other safety gear.
Then, you’ll use the Via Ferrata to progress the rock and reach the capsules with experienced mountain guides. It’s an exciting and unforgettable experience!
Around 7:00 pm, you’ll step into your cozy capsule, where you can unwind and relax after your effort.
Each OVO has three levels that offer all the comforts and safety you need to live at altitude. You’ll enter through the central level of the living room, which has a bathroom. Above that is the bedroom, and below is a high-rise rest area.
From 9:00 pm onwards, the guides will be serving you dinner, setting the stage for the breathtaking moment of dusk.
Prepare to be mesmerized by the breathtaking views of the Río De las Vueltas valley and the majestic southern Andes, where the imposing Mount Fitz Roy dominates the landscape. These stunning vistas will leave you spellbound, and you’ll cherish every moment of your stay, making it a memory you’ll hold dear forever.
After an unforgettable night of floating in a transparent capsule while watching condors soar, you’ll wake up to a delicious breakfast at 8:00 am..
At 10:00 am, it’s time to bid farewell to your capsule and embark on a thrilling descent. We’ll use the via ferrata route and then take a leisurely walk to the entrance bridge of Ea. Bonanza.
Look at that! The return path now shows the northeast face of the Fitz Roy massif, with its cool granite needles sticking out. From there the return transfer to El Chaltén (Av. San Martín 48) begins, where you will arrive at approximately 12:00 hs.
