The OVO Experience
OVO invites you to experience the thrill of nature, with safety and comfort, to witness the beauty of the world around you. Feel the power of the wind and the grandeur of nature. OVO Patagonia is like a cozy hideout against the wind and rain, making it a perfect place to stay in the chilly Patagonian climate. Each capsule has a 360-degree view from all three floors. You’ll find a bed on the top floor, a simple lounge in the middle, and a dry bathroom. And on the bottom floor, there’s a net that lets you hang out like floating in the air. To get to these dream capsules, you’ll walk through a beautiful native forest and go on a Via Ferrata, which is super fun and exciting. And if you ever need anything, just call an experienced mountain guide who’ll be there to help you out.

OVO Night
Description
Just a friendly reminder that you should reach the company office (780, San Martín Av.) by 2:00 p.m. This is where our transfer to OVO departs. The journey starts with a scenic drive along Provincial Route 41, which winds through the valley of the De las Vueltas River. We’ll pass through the native forest and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and glaciers. Around 3:00 p.m., the adventure begins with a fun and easy walk. We’ll cross the suspension bridge over the De las Vueltas River and enter Estancia Bonanza.
After a 1.5 mi (about 45 to 90 minutes) walk, you’ll reach the shelter where the guides will give you a safety talk. They’ll set up your harness and other safety gear. Then, you’ll use the Via Ferrata to progress the rock and reach the capsules with experienced mountain guides. It’s an exciting and unforgettable experience!
Around 5:00 p.m., you’ll step into your cozy capsule, where you can unwind and relax after your effort.
Each OVO has three levels that offer all the comforts and safety you need to live at altitude. You’ll enter through the central level of the living room, which has a bathroom. Above that is the bedroom, and below is a high-rise rest area.
From 9:00 p.m. onwards, the guides will be serving you dinner, setting the stage for the breathtaking moment of dusk.
Prepare to be mesmerized by the breathtaking views of the Río De las Vueltas valley and the majestic southern Andes, where the imposing Mount Fitz Roy dominates the landscape. These stunning vistas will leave you spellbound, and you’ll cherish every moment of your stay, making it a memory you’ll hold dear forever.
After an unforgettable night of floating in a transparent capsule while watching condors soar, you’ll wake up to a delicious breakfast at 8:00 am..
At 9:00 am, it’s time to bid farewell to your capsule and embark on a thrilling descent. We’ll use the via ferrata route and then take a leisurely walk to the entrance bridge of Ea. Bonanza.
Look at that! The return path now shows the northeast face of the Fitz Roy massif, with its cool granite needles sticking out. The transfer back to El Chaltén leaves at 10:00 am, and we’ll be there in half an hour!

OVO Half Day
Description
At 9:00 a.m. you must arrive at the company office (780, San Martín Av.), from where the transfer to OVO departs. The transport covers the first 12 km of the scenic Provincial Route 41 that goes into the valley of the De las Vueltas River, crossing the native forest and from where there are fantastic views of the surrounding hills and glaciers. At approximately 10:00 a.m. the action begins with a low-difficulty walk that begins by crossing the suspension bridge over the De las Vueltas River, entering Estancia Bonanza.
After walking about 1.5 mi (approximately 45 to 90 minutes) you will reach the refuge where the guides will give you a talk about safety from there and during your stay at OVO. They will equip you with your harness and the rest of the necessary safety elements. You will progress through the rock using the via ferrata to the capsules with the help of experienced mountain guides... without a doubt an exciting and unforgettable moment!
By noon you will be in the comfort of your capsule, where you will enjoy lunch with the best view. Each OVO has three levels that have the comfort and security to live at a height: you enter through the central level of the living room where the bathroom is located, above is the bedroom and below is a high-rise rest area.
The spectacular views of the De las Vueltas River valley and the southern Andes, where the imposing figure of Mount Fitz Roy stands out, will leave you breathless, and you will want to remember every second of your stay forever.
At 2:00 p.m. it will be time to say goodbye to your capsule and begin the descent along the via ferrata and the walk to the entrance bridge to Ea. Bonanza.
In front of you, the return path shows the northeast face of the Fitz Roy massif with its peripheral granite needles. At 3:00 p.m. the transfer departs for El Chaltén, where you will arrive after half an hour.
