The Refugio Laguna Cóndor is located 12.4 miles north of the town and on the banks of the Río de las Vueltas. If you do not have your own vehicle, to get there you can hire the transfer service from El Chaltén
Itinerary
The spacious and welcoming restaurant of the refuge offers spectacular views of the north face of Mount Fitz Roy.
Three-course lunch, non-alcoholic beverages, a glass of house wine and specialty coffee.
Within the Reserve there are self-guided trails with different levels of difficulty for walking or cycling.
Depending on your desire or the views you want to discover, there are three paths:
De las Brujas: low difficulty, 2.6 mi long and 16 ft elevation.
De los Notros: low difficulty, 10 mi long and 262 ft elevation.
De las Vueltas: medium difficulty, 4.23 mi long and 1007 ft elevation.

And to end an unforgettable day, relax with a hot bath in one of the outdoor tubs, under the trees and overlooking the river. Bathrobes are provided.
