Itinerary

If you book a transfer from El Chaltén to Bahía Túnel Port (AR$ 30,000 per person), the company vehicle departs at 10:00 AM from the office located at Av. San Martín 520. The journey is 18 km – the first half on paved road and the second half on a well-maintained gravel road – with beautiful panoramic views of the hills, the steppe, and Lake Viedma. If you are traveling independently – by car or taxi – you must arrive at the port at 10:30 AM to check in before boarding.

Given recent episodes of forest fires in this area - whose terrible consequences on vegetation can be seen - the guide leaves an important message of awareness about the use of fire in protected areas and the responsibility of visitors in fire prevention.
